Persecution will come if you're real, because Jesus said so in the Word. Don't be ashamed of Jesus or hide your faith and testimony. Stand bold and courageous for Him, knowing the whole Kingdom of Heaven is with you.

Accepting Jesus is a wonderful beginning—an absolutely critical start—but it is not the end of the story. It is only the first step in a whole new way of life. Walking in Him requires an ongoing, moment by moment reliance on Jesus himself. We need to be rooted and built up in Him, continually seeking to draw strength from Him throughout our day. May we realize that accepting Jesus is not the end of the story. It is just the beginning of the wonderful, new Christ-like life.
